Pam Ravenscroft is a character from the The Southern Vampire Mysteries/Sookie Stackhouse Series by author Charlaine Harris. She is a vampire and is known as Eric Northman's second-in-command and co-owner of Fangtasia. Her exact age isn't mentioned, but Sookie thinks that she is over 200 years old.

When she was human, Pam had lived in London with her parents and had a crush on her best friend's cousin. She considered herself as very wild girl for her times, a romantic and very bold. Though her parents didn't approve the relationship, she slipped out of her house at night to meet her best friend's cousin presumably to start or maintain a secret relationship with the man. When she was coming back home, she met Eric. He drained her, put her in her bed and after funeral he dug her up. She left London and moved with him to north of England and then they left England for the continent. She saw her family only once from a distance about ten years after she died.

She was likened by Sookie to milkmaid, young suburban housewife, middle-class woman. The most fitting physical description of Pam is an "Alice in Wonderland with fangs". She was round faced with chalky pale complexion, dark blue eyes and straight blond hair "white as a magnolia petal". Pam is a little shorter than Sookie who was 5'6". At Fangtasia, Pam's work outfit is the black, filmy gowns the tourists expect all vampire females to wear. In 'All Together Dead" Charlaine Harris says that Pam is more a pastels-and-twinset kind of woman. She often wears pale greens, pinks and blues. Sookie thinks that Pam looks "ethereally lovely, with a kind of deadly edge".

Pam is a firm supporter in the belief of vampire superiority and possesses special sense of humor - often wry, sarcastic, and a little bit on the mobidly sadistic side. She has a kind of sweet-but-lethal charm and her humor, which is unusual for a vampire, could give a human nightmares. She loves to tease and provoke others, such as Fellowship of the Sun members, Sookie, Felicia and especially Eric, as she explains to Sookie, because she had never had much ammunition to tease him with. She usually talks pure American, but when she is excited, she talks with slightly old English accent. Like most vampires, Pam loves to fight and believes in "getting even" with her enemies.

Pam is bisexual, but is more fond of women. In 'From Dead to Worse' she dates Amelia Broadway, who is a witch and Sookie's roommate. Pam can often be seen right beside Eric, who is her Maker or Sire. She is both bound and compelled to do his requests and believes that Eric is a good boss. She, in some way, loves him, but more as her Maker and respected boss than a man. She is very concerned about Eric's happiness and well-being. She is also friends with Sookie, whom she sometimes called her "telepathic friend". Sookie has rescued Pam at least two times, first during the battle with the witches in "Dead to the World" and then in "All Together Dead" from the collapsing hotel in Rhodes. Pam advised Sookie to be more selective in picking her friends in reference to Arlene. It was known in "Dead to the World" that she shared a nest with Clancy and Chow at 714 Parchman Avenue in Shreveport - a large ranch-style house in a upper-middle-class suburb with three-car garage. If Pam still lives there (despite recent events) is unknown.

Before the beginning of the Southern Vampire Mystery series, Pam left Minnesota to help Eric run Fangtasia. Pam is based at the bar, but she has other duties in Eric's various business dealings. Officially she is a bouncer at the bar. She had taken leadership when Eric lost his memory and admits to Sookie that she hadn't had time off in two years.

In True Blood, the HBO series based on the books, Pam Ravenscroft is played by Kristin Bauer.

Pam's last name is not mentioned in the books, but has been revealed by Charlaine Harris on her website here.
